In an effort to communicate the recent changes pertaining to housing and homelessness across the region, the Iowa League of Cities has connected with Central Iowa Shelter & Services to ensure city managers, city clerk, mayors and police chiefs in the region are aware of new funding to support your local community.

The City of Ottumwa has a number of advisory boards and commissions that perform advisory and regulatory functions. Citizens that are interested in serving on a board or commission are encouraged to apply.
Citizen participation on these boards and commissions does require a commitment of time and effort. Appointments to these Boards and Commissions are made by the Mayor and approved by the Ottumwa City Council. Any resident of Ottumwa who is interested in serving on one of the Boards or Commissions should request an application form at the Mayor's Office, on the first floor at City Hall or obtain an application on the link below.
