Our Summer Reading Program at the Ottumwa Public Library is not just for kids! We have an Adult SRP as well. This is a great way to have fun while reading this summer and if you have little ones in your life a great way to lead by example to help them enjoy their reading for fun. The theme this year is, “Read Beyond the Beaten Path” and sign up for all of our programs begins on June 1.
Starting June 1st register for the Summer Reading Program on the Beanstack site at ottumwapubliclibrary.beanstack.org or download the Beanstack app. You can also register in person at the Ottumwa Public Library if you prefer to do the program on paper. After registering you will be given a participating gift and you will earn more prizes after reading 5 hours. Once you have read for 10 hours you have completed the Summer Reading Program and you will be entered into the grand prize drawings.
For the adult program we have grand prize gift cards from Tassel Ridge Winery, Oak Meadows Delight Bed & Breakfast, and Mike’s Pizza and Steak House.
Stop by, call, like us on Facebook, or go to the library website (www.ottumwapubliclibrary.org) for program details.
