Starting today, Norris Asphalt will be working on Herman Street and East Main Street as part of the Asphalt Street Repair Program. Residents will still have access to their homes, but are advised to seek alternate routes to and from their residence and to exercise extreme caution when navigating through the construction zone.
Next week: Construction work will move to East Main Street and Brick Row. Motorists using Brick Row as their primary access into Ottumwa are advised to seek an alternate route to avoid delays while the crews are working on Brick Row. During construction, residents along East Main will have limited access to their homes throughout the day. Please be respectful to the contractor and follow the detour routes put in place. Access will be restored at each days end. Weather dependent, expect work to last until the end of the week.
