The Ottumwa/Wapello County Landfill wants citizens to be aware that as of 3:30 p.m. today March 18, 2020 the Ottumwa/Wapello County Landfill will only be open to commercial haulers until further notice. This is to minimize contact with potential contaminated material with the general public. Haulers tickets will be emailed at the end of the day to the parent company. Citizens may still dispose of their trash with their weekly curbside trash pick-up. The City appreciates the public’s understanding during this process.
