Residents are reminded propane and other cylinders used to hold gases, pesticides, and etc. cannot be disposed of in the recycling bin or trash cart. This places collection, Recycling, and Landfill employees in danger. Propane is 270 times more explosive than gasoline. Small propane tanks may be brought to the Recycling Center as household hazardous waste. Any questions/concerns regarding propane tanks, please contact the Recycling Center at 683-0684.
