With businesses such as Fareway opening their doors one hour early from 8 A.M. to 9 A.M. for those 65 and older or with increased susceptibility to serious illness, and expecting mothers, Ottumwa Transit would like to offer free door to door transportation to those that qualify. This service will be available, Monday through Friday. This will also apply to other businesses opening early and again are available to those that meet the above requirements. Ottumwa Transit also wants citizens to know they are sanitizing the transit vehicles numerous times per day to keep everyone safe during these times.
